At only 22, Shailene has acted in over 11 films, been nominated for a Golden Globe, and won countless awards including both Independent Spirit and Sundance. However, Shai is a staight-up California girl who counteracts the Hollywood stereotype, studies herbalism, disregards silverware and prefers hugging when meeting instead of bland handshakes. She sat down with Director Duffy Higgins during her cover shoot to talk everything from Divergent workouts to couch surfing in NYC.
